A young man has been paraded and beaten by residents of Oluwatuyi in Akure for allegedly raping a woman and trying to pluck out her eyes, IgbereTV reports.

The alleged attacker was paraded naked alongside his victim and beaten with a plank on Tuesday, Feb 2, 2021.

Lawyer and political activist TD Cole Esq. shared the graphic footage via his Twitter handle.

In the graphic footage, the victim who appears weak and unable to move is seen lying naked beside her alleged attacker, with blood on the floor beside her body.

Those speaking in the video are heard saying the man raped the woman and was in the process of removing her eyes when he was caught.

Sailors frantically searched for enemy aircraft or submarines as more explosions raised a thousand-foot-high pillar of fire, sparking fears of "a second Pearl Harbor." The execution of women by the Nazis during World War II This is a tribute to the amazing courage of so many young women during World War II who were put to death for plotting and fighting against the Nazis, as resistance fighters, partisans and activists in towns and concentration camps. It is estimated that more than 4,000 women of various ages were hanged by Nazi forces between 1939 and 1945. Many more were shot or guillotined and many were tortured before minimal or non-existent trials.  They could be sentenced to death by People's Courts and executed within prisons, by the commandants of concentration camps or by military commanders in the field and summarily executed, usually in public.
