Doctor Removed Armor From His Body

 


In December 2021 a man arrives at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital claiming to have 'fallen' on a 17 x 6cm armored shell, part of his private collection: the shell belonged to an Ordnance QF 6 pounder gun, an anti-tank weapon of 57 mm diameter common in the British and American armies during World War II.


The doctors managed to remove the object from the "collector's" rectum before the bomb squad arrived, to whom it was handed over
