Once A Beautiful One Big Family

Many of the families grew up like this, sleeping together, eating together, visiting each other, but today most of these people no longer talk to each other, visit each other, have become enemies even though they are family; yet accuse each other of witchcraft and jealous and only meet during funerals.

Sadly, the new generation born out of these families don't know each other because their parents who are siblings, are no longer on talking terms, and the tragedy is these kids end up dating each other because they don't know their family tree and roots.

The most painful part is the grandparents who were the glue holding families together are long gone. 

This Christmas, make means to mend fences with your relatives. Be the bigger and mature person, you lose nothing by extending a hand to your brother, sister, cousin or a long lost relative.

Fam, Let give peace and unity a chance 💙😇🙏

  A revolutionary surgery took place on this day 64 years ago, changing the world of medicine as we know it.  For the first time ever, a machine was inserted into the human body in lieu of a body part that was no longer able to function correctly.  In 1958, two doctors, cardiac surgeon Ake Senning and medical device engineer Rune Elmqvist, implanted the first ever internal cardiac pacemaker into the body of Swedish engineer Arne Larsson. Larsson’s surgery was done to treat his Stokes-Adams syndrome, a condition that slows the heartbeat and decreases blood flow to the brain, resulting in potentially fatal fainting spells.  This revolutionary internal pacemaker was the size of a hockey puck and used two transistors that would deliver tiny shocks to the heart. Unfortunately, the first edition of this pacemaker would not last past 8 hours.   The Koraga are a tribal community found mainly in the Dakshina Kannada, Udupi districts of Karnataka and the Kasaragod district of Kerala, south India.  These areas in Karnataka, are altogether often referred to as Tulunaad, which roughly corresponds to the boundaries of the erstwhile South Canara district.  They are also found in small numbers in adjoining districts of Uttara Kannada, Shimoga and Kodagu. The Koraga are classified by the Government of India as a Scheduled Tribe. The Koraga, who numbered 16,071 according to the 2001 census of India, have their own language, classified as an independent Dravidian language, which is strongly influenced by Tulu, Kannada, Malayalam, languages commonly found in their area. The truth is that the girl developed an unidentified sickness following this incident, which caused her to experience extreme hysterics or catatonic states. The pictures they took were published all over the world and have continued to shape the public’s image of the concentration and extermination camps to this day.
