Jean Hilliard

Hilliard was declared a medical miracle by doctors after she recovered after being frozen for six hours in sub-zero temperatures of -22 degrees centigrade.

On the night of December 20, 1980, nineteen-year-old Jean Hilliard's car ended up in the ditch. She tried to walk to ask for help. The next morning she was found in the front yard of a local cattle rancher, completely frozen like a stick of wood

She was so frozen that her skin could not be pierced by hypodermic syringes, the needles simply breaking on contact.

His body temperature was so low that it was not detected by a thermometer.

His face was an ash gray color and his eyes did not respond to changes in light.

Although the medical staff thought she was dead, they decided to gradually warm her body with heating sheets. Eventually, she was able to feel a faint pulse of 12 beats per minute.
