Argentini is a master of the female form and known to eternalize beauty. Combining the elegance of the landscape with the soft hills of the nude, these works marry elegance and sensuality in the subdued hues of dried grass and chalky rocks.

Guido Argentini blends the erotic and artistic in his photographs of nude women. Taking the ancient Greek concept of eros as a starting point, Argentini explores the nature of desire. His series span glamorous old Hollywood–inspired color photographs to black-and-white boudoir shots.

In his black-and-white “Silvereye” series (1985–2002), Argentini captured highly stylized depictions of nude models in isolated desert and beach landscapes. In “Argentum” (1995–2010), he covered the naked bodies of male and female dancers, gymnasts, and aerialists in reflective silver paint.

The resulting photographs turn these performers into living statues, highlighting their athleticism and skill. Also a commercial fashion and beauty photographer, Argentini has done editorial work for magazines such as GQ, Vogue Spain, Photo Italia, and Playboy.

He has exhibited internationally in galleries in Europe, Japan, and the United States.

 A horrific video of two women being paraded naked on a road by a group of men in Manipur has been shared widely on social media, drawing massive condemnation and calls for action. The two women were gang-raped in a field, a tribal organisation has alleged. The incident happened on May 4 in Kangpokpi district, some 35 km from state capital Imphal, according a statement by the Indigenous Tribal Leaders' Forum (ITLF). The execution of women by the Nazis during World War II This is a tribute to the amazing courage of so many young women during World War II who were put to death for plotting and fighting against the Nazis, as resistance fighters, partisans and activists in towns and concentration camps. It is estimated that more than 4,000 women of various ages were hanged by Nazi forces between 1939 and 1945. Many more were shot or guillotined and many were tortured before minimal or non-existent trials.  They could be sentenced to death by People's Courts and executed within prisons, by the commandants of concentration camps or by military commanders in the field and summarily executed, usually in public.  Just a twist- Davy Crockett's older sister, Effie Crockett was invited to help some mothers in the Muskogee Tribe.  Once she arrived in camp, Effie laughed at what she saw. The Muskogee Tribe had a custom of cradling their pappooses among the swaying branches of birch trees. This protected their babies from ground insects, the sun, and wild animals.  After first finding it funny, she soon learned all the great reasons for this practice and marveled at the beauty of it.  Effie watched the swaying and soothing motion of the topmost branches of the trees. The capture of brave Russian officer Rosinski This is a shocking image and I apologize in advance for sharing it, but here’s one that truly got to me… in Belarus, 1918, after WWI had already ended, the brave Russian officer Rosinski was captured by the Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks tortured the captain, likely to get information out of the man, which he bravely refused to give. After that, they simply continued with the torture out of some sick sense of innate cruelty. He was ‘the enemy’ and he was at their mercy, so they brutally murdered their captive. The brave captain was emasculated. And anally impaled on a tree branch. All this while still alive.
